What are 4-point and Windstorm Mitigation insurance inspections?

A 4-point inspection lets the insurer know the age of the 4 major components of your home; Roof, Electric, Plumbing, and HVAC. Needed for all homes built before 1990.
A Windstorm inspection lets the insurer understand the wind rating of the home and its components ability to withstand a hurricane, in order to receive a detailed policy quote and possible discounts from the insurer.

Will the inspection report include the cost of repairs?

Yes. All our inspection reports include guideline estimates of deficiencies in the structure.

How long will the actual on-site inspection take?

Depending on the size of the home or building, inspections can last anywhere from the basic 2 hours, up to a maximum of 8 hours for commercial buildings. Call us for more detailed information regarding your property.

Does the buyer need to be on-site during the inspection?

It is recommended that the buyer is present, but not necessary. InspectCo's integrated digital image reports, captures a full view of what the inspector analyzes. All reports are available via email, making the report easily shareable with all parties involved.

How do I know if I need a Mold Inspection?

Here at InspectCo our experienced mold inspectors will help you determine whether or not your property needs additional testing and or professional mold remediation.
